Hello everyone

Startup Weekend is a global event powered by Google for Entrepreneurs, which involves business developers, entrepreneurs, marketing enthusiasts coders and designers from diverse backgrounds teaming up and building a prototype for their ideas in just 54 hours.
Having set a benchmark as one of the prime entrepreneurship events that offer a holistic advantage to the attendees, across major domains like networking, idea validation, team building or even finding your co-founder, Startup Weekend has facilitated the launch and growth of more than 700 startups across the globe. It is primarily intended for
  • Entrepreneurs who are working on an idea, and want to develop a prototype and get it validated by experienced professionals
  • Students who are passionate about an idea and are looking for a platform to launch and get the beta stage validated
  • Creative designers and web developers who are willing to invest their skills in ideas they are passionate about
  • Students who would love to get involved in the Startup ecosystem, and get a hands-on experience of the data driven and target based marketing and business development involved in the process

  • The event would serve as a great learning opportunity for those willing to get involved and explore the multi-dimensional entrepreneurial world, and you'd get a chance to meet domain experts from various industries like education, e-commerce, internet services etc.
While the cost of participation is Rs. 2750, eDC IIT Delhi is offering special discounts for students, who have to pay Rs.1000 to participate. That would also cover seven meals on the three days, and ofcourse, unlimited coffee!
The discount lasts till 31st August 2014. All those interested in applying can register at, and use the discount code- STUDENT. (Note: You'll have to bring your Student ID Card during the course of the event)
