Nobody can stop you from leaving MAIT. Nobody can charge a single paisa over and above what you paid in 1st year if you leave in the begining of 2nd year. That is for sure.

Arey T n C means if u live in north delhi near MAIT den u can opt for MAIT - IT....

oterwise dont compromise ur career over college...

MSIT is also a gud colg...and its location is the best among all ip colleges ( i m damn sure about dat!! )

we all know dat MAIT CSE fills before MSIT CSE ...but u cant deny  the truth dat...MSIT CSE fills faster dan MAIT IT...

in IPU every smart person will chose branch over colg....only if dere is not much diffrence b/w the colg status levels,,,,

Sir, there are rumors like DCE's placement cell has gone under DTU's placement cell, so this year much company's shows not much interest while NSIT placements rages on up...!!
Well i am from IT branch or mait me to wase hi 3,4 companies hi college khali kar jati hai...!!
If the rumors are true and DTU's placements has actually gone down.. Then what effect will there be on placements of IPU..
Please provide answer with IT/CSE branch perspective in mind..

most people outside techbits believe dis...coz MSIT -CSE 1st 60 seats are filled faster dan dat of MAIT - IT 60 seats.......

Well most of the people here will disagree with my decision...but I took what I got in first counselling itself...MAIT EEE...didn't even attend 2nd counselling...and I am very happy with my decision

That depends on you...but i don't think that 1 hr distance really matters much ...by the way i had 3285 rank in 2008

considering the distance frm my house..1 hr(mait) n 10 mins(msit) factor

I would advice you to take MSIT CSE(as the college is nearer to your home and you are getting CSE there).....but i am 90% sure MSIT CSE and MAIT IT will be available till your rank...

last year i got 3217 rank and 217 students were ahead of me in the counselling and only 17 seats were left in MAIT IT....but i got it in the end.....and MAIT IT was filled around 3500...way far behind my rank...

so dont take tension...best of luck and hope for the best...

@COSMOS SIR are u sure 18 n 21 seats in msit cse or mait it wont be filled as dere is a gap of 283 rank between me n wen d counselling wud start?
n is it advisable to take mait it than msit it though mait is 1hr n msit is 10 mins?

I was in same dilemma last year...i had to choose between MAIT IT/MSIT CSE...i got 3217 CET rank bro....but in my case MAIT is just 15 min from my house and it takes 1 hour to reach MSIT....i took MAIT IT and now i am happy with my decision....

My advice-go for MSIT CSE....

you have to work really hard....you have to make balance between the college studies and entrance examination.....and most of the entrance exams takes place when your 2nd semester end terms will be nearing and your practical exams will be going on....passing the college exams with getting selected in entrance exams is really a tough job....i have witnessed it...therefore i am telling you....

if you can work really hard...then only opt for this....otherwise not...

i wish techbits were integrated with IPU website,bits has done the same,
BITS360 has been integrated with BITS official website.

i thank all senior members espically harman,the most dedicated member of techbits.
my suggestion:-
simplyfiy the website,i have been used to techbits for some while now,but it becomes very difficult for new users to get used to it,the first few posts and and those first few days are very important for a user to become a dedicated member,
i told some of my friends to post their queries on techbits,they didnt understand how to use it.....

i got banned there for reffering the stdents there to join techbits......
they just banned me without giving a warning,i didnt do any wrong,all i said was"IPU students,post your queries at techbits" got banned for that,screw that website.

MAIT is visited by mostly IT gaints.....placement cell of MAIT confimed that IT has 110 placements out of 60 students and CSE has 200 placed out of 120.....

so IT placement ratio=1.83 placement per head...
and CSE placement ratio=1.67 placement per head....

In GGSIPU....there is not much difference between the curriculum of IT and CSE...

why arent harman and sagrma moderators??
they are the ones who r the backbone of this website???

hiiiii.......please help me in chossing  a good collge BPIT/ansal institute ........................some are saying that ansal is better option while others say bpit is very good
my counselling is near please help me .......some also says that ansal is big institute apart from gud education it is also gud in many curricular and cultural activities while parshuram is a small institute where only study is gud and other activities are less.........help me to chose gud college among these........

and last year freshers were allowed to reside in the main campus hostel and they told that they were not ragged by seniors because of the strict laws enforced by the Indian Govt against those who would be caught in the act....

yaar field me zyaada difference nahin hai......CSE thodhi zyaada professional lagti hai baki placements to equal hi hoti hai!!!!!!Baaki rahi baat msit aur bpit ki toh msit ke pass experience hai!!!!!!!!!!!!   toh acc to me u shud go with BPIT CSE agar professionally dekha jaye baki teri marzi MSIT IT bhi achi hai

HII....i have a little chances of getting ICE in BVP.but however if seat remained shoud i opt ICE IN BVP or CSE/ECE IN BPIT....................................
Also tell something about ICE .....it is easy or difficult and contains which type of  subjects..................
