U can get canon pixma mp145 at 3000
epson tx111 at 2900
or HP ones as well
If your requirement is of college work only i recommend you to go for monolasers rather than these color printers+scanners as they have high running cost

i dont agree as this printer +scanner one of HP are worth to buy for students.

There is no problem buying any HP or canon ones but the fact is running cost is high.. HP printers have two cartridges one for color which has all three colors ...ek khatm to cartridge badlo...

Not a big deal cheap refills are available but refills compromise on quality, however if u go for monolasers even if u get original toners their cost per page is extremely low as compared to these inkjets

no need to buy original catridge. just refill it.  and there is no compromise. you can refill it own. just buy 4 injections (3 for color and 1 for black one) buy the color bottles.

and dont refill the catridge full. fill it 70-80 percent.

market mein log special kaam nahi karte na hi unke pas jugaad hota hai. wo bhi injection le ke refill karte hai ..kuch logo ke pas machines hoti ..

precaution while refilling catridge.-- make sure there is no air in the injection. dont inject bubbles in catridge.
