doing BCA[top college] or Btech[poor college]

I got 228 rank in ggsipu BCA entrance..
however i am concerned with scope of bca+mca path....
my family members and fellows are telling that there are no scope for bca and mca even if its from NIT...
i am really confuse..

also i have individually check the profiles of mca graduate in linkedin and found most of them are teaching or doing poor job.
and i also checked Various NIT placement and feel depressed after seeing low placement opportunity for mca grads....


Is doing BCA+MCA[from MSI and NIT] is better from doing Btech[from lpu,sharda or other bad university]

bca + mca = btech

plus some job will specifically ask for btech
better to go for btech

bca+mba from iim will be better option but are you willing to take the risk

An MCA degree is < B.Tech Degree.
B.Tech widens your knowledge.
B.Tech is better than doing MCA.
IT is better than going BCA+MCA path.
And after the B.Tech Degree you can give GATE and get admission in NIT/IITs

I AGREE but i screwed my JEE main exam....and get normal marks in state entrance....
with these marks i only get addmission into top Private Btech college[no chance for GOVT]....
i am pure CS guy

What are your marks in JEE MAIN.
and same what is your Rank in Ipucet.

82 MARKS in jeemain and didnt gave IPU(btech).

As you are from reserved category, then your chances are more than the other students.You should have given IPUCET exam.It is damn easy.What is your 12th percentage?

hmm yes but my 12th perccentage are not that good-72% cbse
And ggsipu btech cet have 85% reservation for delhi region ....

Wait for the JEE MAIN Results Now.And take admission in B.Tech rather then taking admission in BCA.
If you get the rank required to take admission in B.Tech in colleges like galgotia.Then take admission.

BTech counseling for mains will be start after june22
after june12 registration for BCA  counseling will ends.
