best way to search varchar string

ok before answering first think that what you will suggest will be used on 70k plus rows every 6 second (:|

so my issue is i have a varchar column which have member id example 27,25,28,13,20,12 for staff area

now i have to see if your group id which is int is in the above varchar

how to do it in fast and efficient way  8-)
issue on which i working is seperating the staff area from members and i dont want to use fix  :|

never mind got it  ;-)
stupid nesting will do the trick  :frus
who need to join 70k column :why i can get topic id which can be shown and then use it to see if the post can be shown  :challenge_accepted


 

Can same no. be searched at two diff. positions using binary search?
