MBA after MTech... Then whats the point in doing Mtech..

Better do MBA straight after btech or work in any MNC,, as IIM's count work experience...

haha...
This is the greatest misconception of our generation...
Even in IITs about 10-15% students remains unplaced....

IIT jane ka mtlb ye ni hota ki 25-30 lac ka package to milege hi milega..
Uske liye tmhe wha v kfi mehnat krna hota h...

Only 30-40% students ko 10 lac se jyada ka package mil pata...

This is the misconception right there. Mba after Mtech or Btech is NOT wrong. When you work and gain experience, you will know that technical is not the only stuff needed, there are a lot of functional/management functions involved.

As an example if you become a part of a RFP(Request for Proposal) for a contract/project, the client only tells his requirements, the functional people are the most important who translate functional to technical specifications, a tech guy only does things after that. At product companies, it is the functional guys who have to decide a hell lot of specifications before a product even reaches its beta stage.
Even hardcore technical people have to take functional decisions, so MBA or Engineering Management degrees after Btech/Mtech is okay, and not wrong.
