For FCS/ Discrete Mathematics, the teacher listed 2 books on board -  Discrete Mathematics by Schaum Series and Discrete Mathematics & its Applications by Keneth H. Rosen, Tata McGraw Hill. OP mentioned Anjana Gupta. So my question is which book to go for out of these 3 books?

Take Schaum for Data Structures..
and for CG&MM, Baker is better

Data structures and algorithms is nothing but a pain in a** for EEE students. So I always searched for the best book to learn this subject to avoid an inevitable backlog in this subject.

There is one book, which is so much interactive that even after being from EEE I wasn't able to control myself but studied whole data structures- "narasimha kurumanchi- career monk publications- data structures and algorithms".

The way of explanation is matchless. Truly the writer is a prodigy.
I seriously recommend this book to every cse student. It is worth for study.
