« on: August 07, 2015, 07:17:21 pm »
we have two choices to purchase either 991MS or 991ES but my ET teacher told me to confirm first that whether 991ES is allowed or not. Someone told that students sometimes save matrics, etc .. on calculator for exams that's why they might not be allowed. Help guys !! 991ES is allowed or not ? :why

My friend uses 991MS,I use 100MS.for the past 4 semesters,i don't think he has been asked even once about the calculator, but to be on the safer side I would suggest 100MS.

@EZIO @UCHIHA My ET teacher confirmed me that you can use 991MS but doubt for 991ES. My ED teacher has also told me to purchase either 991MS or 991ES simply 991ES if allowed.
I was asking if anyone using 991ES or 991ES is allowed ?

Now you guys have mention 82ms and 100ms. Guys please tell me some difference b/w them and 991MS.

991MS is more advanced(matrix calculations) as compared to 100MS and 82 MS.(100MS is better than 82MS) 991MS can be used for matrix calculations,100MS can be used for solving equations and number systems conversions,82 MS lacks these.Don't think too much if told its allowed, its just a calculator.

Don't take 991MS. It is good but now outdated.
991ES is in demand currently but it has slight issues in dealing with mixed fractions.
If you can arrange, then try for 991ES PLUS. It is the latest one and error free.

I purchased 991ES PLus. And yaar usme keval kuch variables hi to he numbers save karne ke liye. Even 991MS also has those variables to save numbers so i didn't find any much issue. I have already verified that 991ES is not a programmable calculator. I have asked some senior students and they said we use it.
